군침투 간첩 용의자50여명"있다, 軍 침투 간첩용의자 50여명” written by. konas.net 기밀유출 용의자도 50여명… 100여건 내사. 보안당국 “장교-부사관 등 현역간부 포함”   탈북 위장 여간첩 원정화 사건의 파문이 일파만파로 확산되는 가운데 군 당국은 군 내부에 침투해 활동하고 있는 간첩 용의자가 50여 명에 이르는 것으로 파악하고 있다.    군 당국은 또 군내 방첩대상으로 분류되는 좌익세력이 170여 명, 군 기밀 유출 용의자가 50여 명인 것으로 파악하고 있으며 간첩 혐의자 색출을 위해 100여 건의 내사를 벌이고 있는 것으로 확인됐다.    이 같은 사실은 탈북위장 여간첩 사건과 관련해 이상희 국방부 장관 주재로 28일 열린 군 수뇌부 긴급 대책회의에 보고된 군 보안당국의 메모를 통해 밝혀졌다. 이 메모에 따르면 현재 군에 침투해 현역 간부 포섭과 군사기밀 수집 등 각종 대남 공작활동을 하고 있는 간첩 용의자는 50여 명이다.    이들은 최근 합동수사본부가 검거한 여간첩 원정화 씨처럼 북한 국가안전보위부의 지령을 받고 탈북을 가장해 남파됐거나 남한에서 오랫동안 암약해 온 고정 간첩 등에게 포섭돼 간첩 활동을 돕고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.  간첩 용의자들 중에는 이번 여간첩 사건처럼 장교나 부사관 등 현역 간부도 일부 포함된 것으로 군 보안당국은 파악하고 있다.    군 고위 소식통은 “지난 10년간 대북 화해정책으로 대북 감시망이 느슨해지면서 군을 겨냥한 간첩 활동이 활발해졌다”며 “군 당국은 관계기관과 공조해 이미 확인된 간첩 용의자들의 동태 파악과 추가 용의자 색출에 주력하고 있다”고 말했다.    이 장관은 합참의장과 육해공군 참모총장 등이 참석한 군 수뇌부 긴급 대책회의에서 군내 침투 간첩 용의자 현황을 보고받고 깊은 우려를 표명하는 한편 철저한 대책 마련을 지시했다.    이 장관이 이날 회의에서 “군 간부 누구라도 저들의 ‘포섭 대상’이 될 수 있음을 명확히 인식해야 한다”고 강조한 것도 남파 간첩이나 이들과 연계된 불순세력의 군내 침투 양상이 ‘위험 수준’을 넘었다는 위기감을 반영한 것이다.(동아닷컴)    윤상호 기자 ysh1005@donga.com  신석호 기자 kyle@donga.com konas.net   2008-08-31 오전 7:12:01
